Role Overview:
Provide support to the Purchasing Manager, and Product Management Team. With specific responsibility for the production and management of supply chains and purchasing. To undertake strategic procurement in a range of allocated categories providing best value contract opportunities for Robert Lee Distribution.
Professional Experience:
Having worked within wholesaling as a supply chain planner. An experienced negotiator with a proven track record of delivering to targets. A comprehensive understanding and experience of inventory management and purchasing strategies. organising overseas shipments and monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance. A previous experience of sourcing the most affordable and profitable products, projecting stock levels, keeping supplier programs current and accurate. Work with the Marketing Team to support the supplier data required for the company price book.

A tenacious, confident, forward thinking person. Enjoys problem solving, result orientated, excellent analytical critical thinking and strategic skills, ability to influence, proven business acumen.
Job Spec:
Competitive Salary
40 hours per week
20 days holiday (plus bank hols)
Working for Purchase Manager
Organising over sea shipments (containers)
Supply chain management
Replenish stock within company guidelines
Progressing overdue purchase orders
Negotiating with Manufacturers and suppliers
Keep accurate and current accounts
Negotiating with manufacturers and suppliers maximising margin through quantity buying deals
Organising/ overseeing deliveries, price matching and invoicing
Find new and exciting products for the Robert Lee portfolio
Liase with other departments in the company and encourage a good working relationship
